1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Datable, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You represent that you're accessing the Service on behalf of a business.

3. Account Access

  • Use is by invitation.
  • You must register to access the Service.
  • You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Beta Disclaimer

Datable is in beta. Features, availability, and reliability may change without notice. No uptime guarantees are made.

5. Use of the Service

  • You may upload spreadsheet files to interact with the system using natural language.
  • You own the inputs and outputs.
  • You must not upload:
    • Personally identifiable information (PII)
    • Protected health information (PHI)
    • Financial, legal, or regulated data
  • You're responsible for ensuring data compliance.

6. Data Use & Privacy

  • Your data is processed to serve your queries and to improve the Service.
  • We store processed spreadsheets unless you request deletion through the in-app interface.
  • We use analytics to learn about usage patterns.
  • Your data is not shared or sold.
  • Your data remains your property.
  • You may contact us via the in-app feedback tool for privacy questions or deletion requests.

7. Third-Party Vendors

  • We use third-party processors including but not limited to OpenAI, X, Google, PostHog, and Supabase.
  • Vendors may change without notice.
  • Processing is limited to serving your query and improving the system.

8. Usage Limits & Suspension

We reserve the right to limit or suspend accounts for:

  • Abuse of the service
  • Attempted reverse-engineering
  • Violations of these Terms

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties about:

  • Accuracy
  • Security
  • Availability

You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Breach or exposure of uploaded content
  • Errors in output

Maximum liability is limited to $0.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Datable, its founders, contributors, and partners harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your use of the Service or data uploads.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

All communication occurs via the in-app feedback interface. You are responsible for checking updates and responding to queries as needed.
